HILLARY CLINTON WINNING NOMINATION, USING 3 STEPS

FROM: "The Thought Spigot" http://www.thethoughtspigot.com/Home_Page.html

Hillary Clinton is going to win the nomination for the democratic party. Just as she cried her way, into the winning of the New Hampshire Primary, by showing a more "human and feminine side," she is putting herself into a position to win, by instituting a brilliant three step plan. Clinton is going to use Obama's past, his indecision and character judgment, and all of the character's in his past against him (or third party people/organizations, will do it for her, over the weeks to come). Second, she is going to move more to the middle, use a "populist view" (speaking in stump speeches and to the voters), and use the DNC chair (Dr. Howard Dean) and the other thirty voters to seed Michigan and Florida. By seeding Florida and Michigan, Hillary will have the popular vote, may have a delegate lead (or will be so close it will not matter), and she will have won all of the states a democrat, or republican, has to win, to become the President of the United States. Lastly, after the smashing of Obama's character and exposing the seedy people around him, getting the reseeding of Michigan and Florida, forcing the DNC and Howard Dean to tip his hand (like he did on "Meet the Press"), Hillary Clinton will then use her massive inner circle and under the table people, to lobby all of the Super Delegates, showing she is the only candidate viable against McCain.

First, Senator Clinton is going to use Barack Obama's judgment and character issues. Characters and people in Obama's life, when he chose "expediency" (after losing his first run at state politics, in Chicago), over being around the right people and doing the correct things, to get elected, become the democratic rising star, and eventually the potential nominee, for the Democratic nominee. Tony Rezco ($8.5 million bail defendant and Obama supporter, friend, business partner, and possible 8-11 count federal felon), Bill Ayers (self proclaimed Anti-American Terrorist), Reverend Jeremiah Wright (enough said), and the countless other people Obama used ("I scratch your back, your scratch mine") to get to the top of the pile, in Chicago. Clinton and the surrogates are going to use all of this, plus any of the extra Rev. Wright comments (in the future), to ensure Obama's judgment and character is destroyed. She will show that he won the states, in the early parts of the candidacy, before he was adequately vetted and now that he has been, he cannot win against Senator John McCain.

Howard Dean, on the Sunday, April 27, 2008, on "Meet the Press" said, "I will let the 30 responsible and fully capable people, in the DNC, decide whether we seed Florida and Michigan." This statement, by Dean, is far from the original statements he made, all along. He has been saying, "rules are rules" and "There is no way that Florida and Michigan can have the infrastructure and overall time to get the job done (revoting and counting the votes) in time for Colorado." Dean's change in tune, is hitting a sour note with Obama, who has never wanted Michigan and Florida to be seeded, due to Hillary already winning Florida, and the fact that Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the other big states have all gone to Hillary (with the exception of Wisconsin). Once Michigan and Florida are back in play, at whatever level, coupled with the momentum of Hillary Clinton winning Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, and doing the correct thing in going on Fox News "O'Reilly Factor, The No Spin Zone" (which has given her maximum exposure now, and she came off friendly, up to snuff, and in portions acted and answered brilliantly).

Lastly, if the public looks at the "Super Delegates" who have not cast a vote for Obama, or Hillary Clinton, they are major players in the party, have the most to lose (for casting a wrong vote), and are also the have the most to gain (by being with the winner). Senators, congressmen, and others like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Heath Shuler (North Carolina's blue blood, freshman congressman), and others like Robert Byrd. These "Super Delegates" are going to decide the nomination, in a back room, somewhere. Once Florida and Michigan are seeded, that will clear the way for the super delegates to vote for Hillary Clinton, due to the fact she will have the popular vote, close to the delegates needed, and will have the wind at her back. The only possible thing, the "Super Delegates" may not go with Hillary on, is because of the simple fact of race and the party. Either way, the democratic party is in a hard-line disarray and may be imploding. The "MoveOn.org's," "Daily Kos'," and all of the fringe democratic entities (the Ayers', Carl Davidson types, George Soros', and a large portion of elites in the media, academia, and Hollywood celebrities) are pushing the party one way. While the more moderate democratic people, in the middle of the country, the "Reagan Democrats" and the middle of the country democratic voting block, are going in an opposite direction.

The Bottom Line: Hillary Clinton has a huge shot at winning the democratic nomination, based on the above, but she is a stronger and more proven candidate, overall. However, there are going to be some people, who will be outraged. Those mentioned above, the elites, media, and all the others, but the main people the democrats should be worried about, are the Afro-American voters. Some are going to see this, as "disenfranchising the black man" (not to mention the first real Afro-American presidential nominee). If you were to ask me, three months ago, I would have said there was no way Hillary could overcome the media attention, the love of the country, and the huge push Barack Obama had. However, as of today, I would never bet against Hillary Clinton again, for anything, anytime.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright, A Man of God

"The Thought Spigot"
http://www.thethoughtspigot.com/Home_Page.html

Life is a sweater, clothing every individual in the world. The threads of the sweater are each choice, individual event, and outcome that has happened in our lives. Finally, the pattern off the sweater (on the sweater) is what our lives look like, and look like to others. Some sweaters are filled, with butterflies, vivid colors, and countless other beautiful, God filled things. Still others, are jet black, frayed, from choices and results, unfulfilled. Although, every sweater is unique and different, they are all made from our choices, reflect our true inner self, and always show the truth.

In every news spot, from the time Reverend Jeremiah Wright gave his NAACP presentation and the answers at the National Press Club, there has been mass speculation, parsing of words (by Wright, pundits, and news anchors), and mainly the words from Reverend Wright himself. When a man of the cloth (no matter what denomination, or religion), makes statements like these: "The US government made and put the AIDS virus into the black community [to cause genocide]," "The chickens have come home to roost [in referring to America, deserving to be hit on 9-11]," and his countless remarks over the last two major meetings and two sermons over the weekend, there is no excuse for them. There are very few professions in life, requiring absolute faith, decision making and character, and most importantly the truth and ethics, in both professional and personal life.

One of those professions is being a religious leader. Regardless, of the religion, the leader is bound by God, to teach and preach to followers, what is in God's message. In the Christian faith, there are countless priests, ministers, reverends, and other leaders who are men of God and lead a group in the congregation, in the truth of the Lord (Jesus Christ). However, there are a handful of those leaders, in the Christian faith, who may have once been pure of heart, but have strayed off of the path, for their own fortunes, ideologies, or narcissistic reasons. Reverend Wright is one of those people. A narcissistic man, who has now thrown Barack Obama under the bus, and is making a media road trip, to serve his own ego and ultimately to sell a best selling book (in the fall).

Jeremiah Wright is not only a self serving reverend, but he uses the Bible, God, and his pulpit to spew an Afro-American agenda, filled with hate and segregation to a portion of the black community. When he was confronted on the remarks, he made in the United Trinity pulpit, he hid from the media, leaving Barack Obama to field the questions, call him an "uncle that you cannot, just disown" and burying Obama in a mound of democratic Clinton rhetoric (not to mention the media, news stories, and constant pundit interviews). When Wright came back, for what was perceived as a low key home coming, instead he is grand standing, stating "this whole thing is not about me, but about the Black Church" and whenever possible fuels his own agenda, by pontificating his own credentials and bashing anyone who disagrees.

Overall, Wright is the worst kind of "man of God." He has put himself, thrown some in his congregation under the bus (Obama), possibly derailed the first Afro-American president in the White House (for his own gain), he has also put everything in his own ideology (to segregate the black community, from anyone not black) in front of God, but maybe the worst thing about "The Reverend Jeremiah Wright" is he puts one of the seven deadly sins, in front of everything. Wright's vanity has manufactured him into this position, by putting himself, in front of God, God's word, and most importantly leading God's children down the wrong path. Hopefully, he will see the error of his narcissistic ways, before it is to late. I know I will be praying for him.

Jeremiah Wright, Obama, & The NAACP

FROM: "The Thought Spigot" http://www.thethoughtspigot.com/Home_Page.html

There are countless people, in the political and media eye, who have constant visions of the problems in the United States. There are a lot of things in America's economic, foreign, and the overall state of the union policy. Jeremiah Wright, at the Detroit NAACP meeting, had many great quotes at the biggest meeting of the year, for the Afro-American community. Starting out, as a speech on the "black community," Wright turned the thirty minute speech, into an "Afro-American Church Service." The Wright speech and/or service was not out of line, in the way it was presented, the way Wright boomed away, and even when he broke into dance. Wright's comments though, were not only unprecedented and not factual, they were completely out of line. Wright's whole speech was under the guise of, "America is a country who sees different, as being deficient." He also went on saying, "I am not divisive, I am descriptive. I am not running for President of the United States, I am running for Jesus."

The "sermon on the mount of the NAACP" was tame of Wright quotes. By comparison, to the other things, he has been quoted in the media, "America injected the AIDS virus, into the minority [black] community" and comparing "the United States to Al-Queada." However, the main flaw with the speech, was the ten minute rant, on the Afro-American community and unity. There was two major flaws in the overall part of the speech. The first part, Wright said the Afro-American and African people are completely different, from White Americans and others, from the womb. Wright used music, as an example of this, comparing the Michigan and Michigan State marching band (playing the school fight song, at football games), to the Grambling State marching band. Also saying, that blacks think and learn on different beats, genetically imprinted on their brains, from birth. The other major flaw in his speech, was the fact he did not mention Caucasian and other nations of people integrating (in any way) with the Afro-American community.

Barack Obama was also on the television, having his interview with Chris Wallace (after 722 days, of the promise to come on his show). Obama was all over the map, in the interview, blaming the media for being positive on his wins, but slamming him after Pennsylvania. Really, the overlying theme of the whole Obama interview, was summed up in the statements he made referring to wins in Wisconsin, Iowa, and previous other states when the democratic field was markedly wider and the press was giving him a direct pass. Ironically, this fits into the fact Obama was not properly vetted, early on, in the democratic election process, Michigan and Florida did not have primaries, and the fact that Obama and Wright are close. They are close in the sense of Wright being his pastor, his spiritual mentor and also the fact Obama and Wright used each other to climb their respective ladders. This is the major reason why the American people (especially the democrats voting for Hillary), have a vested interest in how far Obama espouses Wright's views, insight into the segregation versus integration (which happened to be Michelle Obama's thesis, at Princeton, when she was twenty-two years old), and the overall feeling Obama has with the mixing of races and where Afro-American people are to be, in Wright's view, in American society?

The Bottom Line: The fatal flaw for Barack Obama is he stayed in a church, who's reverend preached against Caucasian and Afro-American integration, who made complete anti-American statements (the government put AIDS into the Afro-American and minority communities, as a form of genocide), and people do not know exactly where he will stand on these kinds of issues. Reverend Jeremiah Wright has one fatal flaw in his speech, at the NAACP meeting (at Obama's expense). If Afro-American people have different learning patterns, ways to learn music and even different ways to practice their religion, "from out of the womb," where does that leave Barack Obama, who is both Caucasian and Afro-American (biracial)? Did Obama and all biracial people have a struggle from birth in learning, music, relationships, and all other parts of their lives? Is Obama bound by DNA, to become, either white, or black, by choice? A bigger question is Barack Obama, is just as Caucasian, as Afro-American, why is the African community voting for him, at a 90% rate (that is the question people should be asking, as well as, why can't he win Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and California)

Wright's overall thesis, or premise, last night was a joke. People are all created equal, all created with the same blood in their veins, and though they may have a darker skin, lighter skin, or somewhere in between, it makes no difference what their skin color is, out of the womb. What matters is the values, ethics, morality, and overall choices they make, as adults. Changes occur and things are learned, thru environment, choice, parental and overall people's interactions, with other people. There are genetic traits, that are handed down, of course. However, to make huge blanket statements, like Wright did, is beyond absurd.

Obama, Clinton Crist, & The Parsing of Words

FROM: "The Thought Spigot" http://www.thethoughtspigot.com/Home_Page.html
All politicians, at any level in the political system, have a distinct gift for speaking. As a rule, the better a speaker a politician is, usually the better the politician. In the age of YouTube, Camera phones, and countless other ways the "common person" can record anything, or record a video of words not meant for public consumption, political figures are more on their guard, then ever before. The George Allen, "Macaca moment," while running for reelection in Virginia, in 2006, was a huge hit (if not his complete downfall) in his losing to Jim Webb. Other, "not for public consumption moments" have been had by Bill Clinton (on sexual issues), John McCain (anger), Senator Joseph Biden (race), and Barack Obama's recent comment (in San Francisco) on "Cling Gate." All of these slips of the tongue, were all caught on tape and/or video, in recent times, and a mere ten years ago none of these things would have been public.

In today's, "gotcha political games," the parsing of words is almost a profession. Focusing on any blog, radio interview, television spot, or debate the public pours over each word, of the potential political candidate, political person, or even a family member. After Pennsylvania and Hillary Clinton's 9-10% win, on the stump, she said, "I am very proud, that as of today, I have received more votes. By the people who have voted, than anyone else. I am very proud of that, because it is a very close race." Of course, Hillary Clinton, is still behind on the number of votes, to Barack Obama, on "official paper." However, if the Clinton campaign counts the votes in Michigan and Florida (which were rendered, null and void, by the DNC and DNC chair Howard Dean), she is technically ahead on voters pure votes. Therefore, when a person in Indiana, at a Clinton rally hears these words (if they are not 100% boned up, on the issue), they feel as though they are winning, and everyone wants to vote for a winner.

On the other side of things, the Obama campaign (with Barack himself, leading the way), came out with their own brand of word parsing. Obama said, "Nobody has complained more, about the press, questions at the debates, or how she has been treated, than Mrs. Clinton has and President Clinton. And so, we have been pretty tame, in terms of taking our shots, and um rolling with them." Of course, Hillary Clinton did have advertisements, in Pennsylvania, about Obama complaining about the debate questions and overall coverage, in the "City of Brotherly Love." Although, Obama was the person who went to San Francisco, making the comments about Pennsylvanians "clinging to religion, guns, etc..etc.." Obama, over the last year, has also enjoyed a completely free, roller coaster ride, from all of the press, until the last six weeks (when all other candidates were gone, from the playing field, the Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Obama's voting record and other things have come to light). Even Saturday Night Live, who bashed Senator Clinton early on, in the democratic campaign, reversed its role, making several skits, at Obama's expense (on how lopsided the coverage was, to Obama's advantage).

Charlie Crist, the Florida Governor, got into the act, as well. Even when he did not need to go out and push an agenda, with a parsing and double edge meaning of words, he did. On CNN, "The Situation Room" he was interviewed by Wolfe Blitzer. Blitzer asked him, "Which of the two democratic candidates is stronger candidate, Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama?" Crist replied, "Well, my presumption would be, that the stronger of the two democrats would be Senator Clinton. After all, she won in the democratic primary we had January 29th, did very well in the "Sunshine State" and was a record turn out in, both the republican and democratic primaries, so clearly I think she would be the more formidable, of the two, as it relates to Florida." Translation, Crist was, obviously, saying that Clinton and Obama need to keep on beating each other up, let the democratic primary go as long as it has to, and the Florida and Michigan people and votes should be counted. If Crist would have just came out, flatly saying that, he would have injected himself into democratic politics, put McCain into a strained position, and may have done himself damage (in possibly becoming the republican vice presidential running mate, for McCain).

The Bottom Line: People should say what they mean, and mean what they say. In addition, people should never assume and project, onto other people. I recently wrote a blog and a person responded to a context word, they were incorrect in the way I used that specific word (for future reference, "A teacher does not have to teach school. Rather, a teacher is anyone who has information, that is given to another person, and that person then uses and/or espouses it to their lives. A teacher is not always a professor, Carl). Politicians are on the bottom of the American people's shoes, in the way of approval, now. Depending on what poll a person was to look at, the President Bush has an approval rating of 27-31%, Congress has an approval rating of 17-21%, and 81% of Americans think the country is going int he wrong direction. Possibly, a way to "right the ship" and bring America back to the days of respectability, is for every link in the chain, in the political machine (pundits, media, analysts, and the candidates at all levels) is to speak in a solid and forthright way. This is a prayer that may go unanswered, but one can always pray and hope.

OBAMA, CLINTON, & DEMOCRATS

Looking across the democratic landscape, one has to wonder, is there any intestinal fortitude, in the democratic party at all? Congress was elected, in 2004, by an overwhelming margin, with promises of change and overall "anti-Bush" slogans. The two remaining democrats, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton (in the presidential nomination race), are both running on change, hope, and a basic "anti-Bush" platform, as well. Combining the above (Congress and the nominees), the "super delegates," and the democratic third person people (bloggers, MoveOn.org, The Democratic National Committee, and all of the individuals, with heavy money and democratic ties) there is a problem. The problem is they have no pulse on the American people and an overall lack of guts.

The lie over Bosnia, by Hillary Clinton, was a catastrophe. The longer Obama's campaign goes on, more things are coming out about his background, friends, and poor character/judgment (see the blog, "The Real Obama Presidency" at TheThoughtSpigot.com). Congress, when elected, was to build and pass major legislation within the first two to four months of their elections (on immigration, education, the war, et. Al.). However, they have been rendered almost useless, due to the democratic nomination, and its dragging on for over eighteen months. Holding off up, or down, votes on judges, of Bush's appointing (for strictly political reasons), having hearings on steroids/baseball (instead of urban schooling, economic stagnation, & other major issues), and the resounding obstinence of cutting the war budget (after saying they would in their election campaigns) is borderline, to be decent. The overall lack of leadership by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and countless others on "The Hill," because of "wait and see" attitudes is more than transparent. It is a lack of guts, ethics, and honesty to their constituents. If Hillary Clinton was to win the nomination, some democrats do not want to be the ones, who have pushed for any kind of legislation and/or votes, which may not be to her liking. The same situation for Obama. There is no leadership, in waiting for the problems to fix themselves, or get worse, while sitting on nominated hands.

"Super Delegates" were another wonderful invention, of the democratic party. The Frasier Comission, was the designer of the "Super Delegate System." However, did he realize when making the system, he could possibly, be giving away possible voter's rights, in their own party? By giving "Super Delegates," a vote and delegation, they have the ability (in this election and in the future), to determine Obama is an "nonviable candidate," vote for Hillary Clinton, and then the votes of the people would be null and void. A basic "back room deal" and/or we want the White House, so bad, we will go against our own people/electorate, to get it. Another situation, if the election between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, does go to the Democratic National Convention, will the "Super Delegate" vote for the nominee, their state voted for, or will they exercise against the will of the people, going in a different direction?

Obviously, this is a mute point, at present, because the majority of the "Super Delegates" are not acting super, and are playing politics, with votes. Mainly, refraining from picking any candidate, hedging their bets, to see who will win, or if there will be a winner outright. Therefore, they will not have to exercise an "OPINION, OR VOTE" for a candidate their state wished for, or even who they wish for, in order to not go against the grain (of a potential president). Insuring, they will be able to have a "seat at the table," with the presumptive nominee, not being an outcast. Is this what a "Super Delegate" should be about, or what they should be doing, with their vote?

Between the United States Senate, Congress, the "Super Delegates" and the third person people (in the party) nothing is getting done in Washington. While they await the presumptive nominee, the American people are occupied with the race for the "Presidential Throne." While, gas, unemployment, inflation, and food prices are going thru the roof, democrats are beating President Bush and military leaders to death about the war. They continue to obstruct from any kind of legislation and votes, hoping the American people will have their attentions focused on other things and the democratic nomination. Instead of working together, as a democratic majority, to have bills (even if it requires multiple solutions and extra hours of work) ready for their presumptive democratic president, they are playing politics, with time. Time the Americans do not have to waste. Yet, Pelosi, Reid, MoveOn.org, Obama, Clinton and the talking heads of the democratic party are taking up the time, with little (if any) kind of solutions to health care, gas and food prices, the housing situation, so the economic bubble and America is about to burst (if it is not bursting now). Where is the legislation, the leaders looking to fix and send up possible solutions to America's big problems, and the hard integrity needed to fix huge issues like immigration, health care, and the deficit?

THE BOTTOM LINE: The democrats are in the majority of both houses, at present. If they are to be taken seriously, as the "party of change," they need to start thinking out the of the box. It does not matter who the next President of the United States is, because they are the majority and the problems will still be there. If Obama, McCain, or Clinton is the President of the United States, come 2009, there should be several different bills, pieces of legislation, and the votes passed up to start the ball rolling, on day one. All the Democratic Party is doing now, from Congress, the Senate, and the Super Delegates is wasting time. Cast your votes, quit playing politics with the American's future, and start LEADING. The longer the democrats wait, the longer it will be for the "change" to be instituted (which they so freely speak about). Get it done, whether you have to draft ten different copies, of the same bill. Check your egos at the door, do what you promised to do (when you were running to be elected), quit the bickering and reach across the aisle, and finally press ahead for the country, that is why you were ELECTED (you were not given anything, but ELECTED to SERVE THE PEOPLE).

Real Change

"The Thought Spigot" http://www.thethoughtspigot.com/Home_Page.html

Before there were countries, there were people, and all people are the same. They may be changed through the choices they make, in life, but all people are born the same, as pure souls and babies. However, the United States of America was founded on freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The experiment called the United States, over the years, choices, different leaders, and people, has produced a nation of dichotomy. A duality, throughout the whole country, in all choices, traditions, and opinions. Mistakes have been made, through the years, but there have been remarkable and unconditional successes, as well. Slavery, the killing and processing of the Indian population and lands (for government and personal gain), and the internment camps of Japanese during World War II are all huge examples, of blatant abuse of power and heinous judgment. Obviously, there is are excuses for the scars on American people and psyches. Poor decision making, corrupt people and leaders, and the scars left behind are hard to forget, world wide. However, for every wrong choice and atrocity, by leaders and other people, there is another side to the experiment of America. Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and countless other rights and amazing things, Americans take for granted everyday, have all been attained by the experiment. When looking at the "experiment called America," the good far outweighs the bad, in just about all cases. However, there is still multitudes of things, both common and irregular, to be remedied in the US (and world wide). Change only comes through every person, what lens they choose to look at the world with, and an attitude of not hating people, but the actions of people.

It does not take very knowledgeable person, to look into the past and cast dispersions on people and choices. There is no person, beyond judgment, as there is not anyone who is perfect. If a person has no religious faith, or belief system, this is still a fact. There seems to also be a huge double standard, on who is to be persecuted and by whom. When Bill Maher says, "Catholicism is a child abusing, religious cult. It's leader also has a compound, and this guy not only operates outside the bounds of the law, but he used to be a Nazi and wears funny hats. We're here, we're queer, get used to it. (He went on, comparing the FLDS Cult bust in Texas, to the Catholic Church) But, really, what tripped up the “little cult on the prairie” was that they only abused hundreds of kids, not thousands all over the world. Cults get raided. Religions get parades. How does the Catholic Church get away with all of their buggery?" It is amazing how a person can look for laughs, at something like this. Regardless, there is a startling problem with this kind of pervasive thinking, in America. Obviously, the FLDS situation, in Texas, is a compounding of "religious perversion" (no matter how you look at it, based on twelve to sixteen year old girls being impregnated, women married off at the same ages, and men, boys, girls, women without any rights. This due to a small group of men, regulating, perverting and mandating rights). The Catholic Church has had a large problem, in the form of abuse, the sex scandal and overall priest misconduct. Not to minimize any of the things which happened in the Catholic Church, in any way, but the Catholic faith has many positive and devout people, throughout the world, with all kinds of positives. Comparing the Catholic faith, with the FLDS cults (in the US), is a ridiculous and biased point of view. There will never be any change with this kind of thinking.

American history is a very undisciplined topic. The history and choices, viewed from the lens of one person may form opinions, traditions, and set in motion lifestyles for years to come, for countless people. Yet, the same past and choices, viewed from another's position, may set in motion a completely different outcome. America's history is tangled and intertwined, with the best and worst of people and choices. Until, people start looking at others (as equals), taking a step outside themselves (gaining perspective of other's point of view), and invest time into the choices (a "walking a mile in their shoes" approach), that actual change for the multitude will be possible. All people should be accountable for their actions, the words they say, and most of all to understand all people are the same and equal. The main offenders, hide behind freedom of speech, and are the people who have the most money, influence, and power. The media continues to give free passes, as they sometimes participate and generally share the same views, with these people. There are virtually no whistle blowers and people who want to make a positive change, thru a sense of empathy.

The Bottom Line: Most people do not believe in change for the overall betterment of society, or else they are feeding and becoming more powerful, with the way they abuse and manipulate society. I do not feel believing in a world where empathy (viewing the world thru where another person stands, feels, believes), making choices for the common good, and a general understanding that all people are equal and are the same. Actions and choices make people different, over time. Yet, everyone is born the same. There may be disadvantage, a different environment, in a person's life, but ultimately every person is the same. People who have had abusive parents, constant hurdles and other's lived in poverty, but they went on to become great leaders, changing the world in enormous ways. However, change is something, only achieved, when made thru conscious choice. Whether a person is religious, atheist, or agnostic, there is a simple saying, in order to create change for a common good: "Hate the sin, not the sinner." An all inclusive statement/quote, but if followed and coupled with a general yearning, in the hearts and minds of all people, with conscious decision of change, then all things are possible.

FOCUS ON THE COUNTRY, NOT THE LIES

Really it doesn't matter whether you like Obama and/or Hillary Clinton; they both have so many holes in their "stories, stump speeches, and random podium things (where the press wasn't supposed to be there), " neither are good with character, ethics/morality, and the "truth." Some say the truth is relative, but there is a white lie, relative truth, then there is flat out lying. Like Al Gore saying he, "invented the Internet" and countless other things he lied about, leaving the door open for Bush. POLITICIANS LIE!!!!!! POLITICIANS ARE BASICALLY UNETHICAL (being nice with the basically)!!!!! POLITICIANS ARE NOT A BEACON OF LIGHT, sent to help the United States and most of all REPRESENT THE PEOPLE, SOLELY, ANYMORE!!!!

I have posted in other threads about Barack’s fast rise thru a tough Chicago political scene and how he did it, from college (dealing and befriending left/socialist/marxist professors), to his work out of college (colluding with Tony Rezco, who is now up on Federal charges, 8 I believe, counting purgery, tax code, and fraudulent things concerning urban people/housing/H.U.D. properties), to his social life and getting street cred. (going into the United Church of Christ and pairing with the powerful Rev. Wright), and finally to his "Friendly relationship" with Bill Ayers (who tried to blow up 11 government buildings and is completely unrepentant about it). On a "young note, " when was it cool for Presidential candidates to do drugs, either? Just because you admit it, and said it was a mistake, still goes back to judgment and character, in which Obama has none. As anyone can see, when the cameras are turned off and he bashes "Mid-America, Fly Over country, and small town people" for his elitist friends, in San Francisco (last week).

Hillary has so many lies on her resume, coupled with her husband and Al Gore, it is no wonder why 40% of the country would NEVER VOTE FOR HER. She is so polarizing, it isn't even funny. She couldn't even pull off a joke, for April Fools' Day (making it funny), on the Barack and her having a "Bowl Off for the Presidency" (after Obama bowled a "37"). She has no personality, credibility, character, and only cares about personal gain. Just ask her, why she didn't give the country her tax returns (LIKE SHE SAID SHE WOULD), for this past year, when this past year is the most important year (to see where she is getting and Bill is getting their monies). Between her and Bill's dealings and business "overseas," being a complete socialist when it comes to the majority of issues, and also being an insider to "The Hill" and all it offers, what do you expect from her? It isn’t ethics, morality, and the truth, I promise you that.

McCain, is the closest thing to truth, on the ticket (ticket being, that has a chance of winning, not Libertarians, Green, or any other parties). However, McCain has his faults, as well. POLITICS AND LYING GO HAND IN HAND. YOU HAVE TO DITCH YOUR ETHICS, MOST MORALITY, AND THE TRUTH (in the general sense of truth), WHEN YOU DECIDE TO RUN FOR OFFICE.

So, get off of finding someone honest, and look at where these people stand on issues that matter. However, how can you focus on that, when you can’t trust them to follow thru, on where they stand on those issues too.

The whole government, needs an overhaul. It serves no purpose blathering on about who lied about what, when they have all lied about something, whether you know it or not. Here is a quote I heard, "If you are not paranoid (about the govt.), you are stupid/a moron. If you are little paranoid, it isn’t enough. If people say you are "to paranoid," you are probably in the ball park of being right." NOT INSIDE JOB ON 9-11 PARANOID, but overall not trusting the govt. for being with/for the people, paranoid.

TO BOYCOTT, OR NOT BOYCOTT, THE CHINA OLYMPICS

There are more than a few people with the perception and opinion of; "I am not distancing myself from the world's problems or ignore the plight of Tibet and it's people. I like sports and I love the Olympics. Therefore, simply saying that this is purely about sports, not politics, so we shouldn't make it about politics."

This is one of the most non-thought out/backwards views, people could take. Wanting to enjoy a "Sporting Event" and not see politics, is understandable. However, when the politics are, some of the most heinous, on record, not just about "Monks/Tibetans," but also about: Taiwan's fight with China's rule over them in trade, politics, and overall living, Christians being thrown to the lions/in jail (almost like "Daniel Days"). Plus, countless of things and maybe backlashes, China's buying of almost all natural resources possible (worldwide), polluting the earth in ways the US could only hope to (joke), the fact that the COMMUNIST CHINA REGIME could tank the US dollar and economy, sides with RUSSIA blocking all UN substantial stuff, and is the biggest problem (even over middle east countries) in the future of America, over the next 20 years.

The athletes do not have to boycott and should not boycott the games, but they could where arm bands, "Maroon athletic jump suits & Uniforms" with RED, WHITE, & BLUE stripes down the side, or countless statements to the press after each win. HOWEVER, President Bush, even though he will be "talking to the Chinese under the table, in private," but there isn't any amount of talking that will achieve anything, with China. Which the rest of the world, seems to understand. France, Italy, Germany, England, Several African Nations, and other EU Nations are not sending their leaders/Presidents/Ministers, to the opening ceremonies, so Bush should not go either.

Whether anyone has seen, the Black Panther Fists on the podium, the boycott in ’80, or any other past Olympic political thing. Remember this, in 1972, Palestinians bombed and killed 11 Israeli Olympians (actually, just 200 yards away from Bruce Jenner, the USA Gold Medal Hero). Is that a big enough political statement? When is enough, enough? When does the American community and government stand up for the righteous? When does sports, idols, and other non-sequators take a back seat, to doing the right thing? We used to be, "The land of the free, home of the brave." When does the United States people, government and athletes look at those words, thru the correct lens? The US should be leading the world, in these events, not falling suit/not participating at all. Right?

I am not saying that the Olympic players should boycott, but make a statement with their uniforms, jump suits (during the opening ceremonies, being Maroon ’for the Tibetans’ with Red, White, & Blue Stripes), and using their mouths to speak up (to see if the Chinese will filter/surpress/or altogether censor, their words) after winning events, or any other time with the press.

What do you think about that?

Two "OFF LIMIT" Topics

FROM: TheThoughtSpigot
http://thethoughtspigot.com

Politics and religious topics are touchy subjects, for almost all people in America. People feel like they should not speak about the topics, for fear of being "politically incorrect" (no pun intended), they do not want to be labeled, and there is a litany of other reasons people have been pigeon holed, into not wanting to speak about these two topics. Politics, especially during an election cycle and possibly the most historic election in history, is a more expectable thing to speak of this year. However, religion is still an "off limits" topic.

Every religion has people that are on the fringes, giving the specific religion a bad name. Islam has been hijacked by groups like Al-Queada, "The New Black Panther Party" and others. Christianity has been linked with the "Pro-life Radicals," far right ideologues, and the money first and "word of faith teachers/pastors" (like Joel Olsteen, Benny Hinn, Ken Copeland, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, etc.). No matter what religion is looked at, there are always the past issues affiliated, with them. "The Crusades" (Christianity), "The 500 year war" (Islam), terrorism with Orthodox Jews, Muslims, and radical Christianity, are all things from the past. Although, it is a "touchy subject" dealing with present tensions, as well as, the fact people can usually not let go of past issues and strife. There is always the future, which brings opportunity, and opportunity brings all possibilities.

One can only hope, that thru the generations of today and tomorrow, religion will be a topic that can be not only spoken about, but can also begin to bridge the gap between people. Whether a person is a believer, an atheist, or an agnostic faith is a part of the human experience. Whether it is faith in people, faith in the hearts and minds of future generations, or actual faith in God, people must have some kind of faith, for the world to become whole again. The white supremacists in the upper northwest (in the United States), Al-Queada, Iranian K.U.D.S forces, and the countless other rogue and relentless forces around the world are striving to snuff out one thing across the globe, faith.

The last three blog entries, I have written, have not dealt with the usual politics, or sports, but rather choice and faith. I happen to be a Christian man. After living the first 25 years of my life playing baseball and basketball (thru college), working, dating, and being a "normal man," I was struck down and rendered disabled. Basically, home bound and left on my own for the last eleven years, I have found faith has sustained me. Faith in my God, faith in my family, and faith in the Christian values I hold dear are the things that get me by daily. However, in a world where there is few people speaking about religion, due to the "nonpolitically correct status," around in America, sometimes I need to see something that will bring me back to the present, in order to focus on what I have now.

I stumbled onto this picture and message. Sometimes a picture, or something else to trigger the mind, helps to bring a person back to what matters most in their lives. It shows them what is important, that the present is all that matters, and sometimes it shows the people that have come before us, to give us the chance to have faith in life, in people, and in the future. I hope this, no matter what political affiliation, religious persuasion, or wherever you are at in your life, it triggers something in you. Hopefully, it will bring you faith in something bigger, faith in anything, or will just enable you to have a reality break/check.

Peace,

EAGLES, MORE THAN THE AMERICAN BIRD

An ornithologist is a person, who studies and maps the character traits of birds. A tidbit of knowledge, most people will not need to know in their lives, but one thing most people seem to be interested in, is flight. At some time in a person's life, they look up to the blue sky. They wish to soar through the crystal clear, blue sky, never looking down, and feeling the cool breeze brush across their cheeks. If for only just a moment, everyone could be a bird, for just a couple of minutes, leaving the rest of society on the ground below. Ornithologists, have discovered there are only three types of flight, in birds. There are birds who use (1) flapping, (2) gliding, and (3) soaring.

Most birds are "flappers." They are the birds, beating their hollow wing bones, as fast as they have to, in order to fly. It is a pretty self explanatory situation and description. The other set of birds, are birds who glide. They use a combination of wing beats and the wind to glide through the sky. They take off from a branch, the ground, or wherever, to a specified height. Once, they reach the height desired, they adjust the wings to glide along with the wind. However, they are bound by the wind yield, gravity, and a set of other features. These birds are more rare, than their counterpart birds, the "flappers," but are not the rarest of the birds of flight. The birds who soar, are the rarest and most complex birds, in the world. Eagles, are the best example of this kind of bird. The birds of soaring flight use the wind and jet stream to fly. The distinction of "soaring birds," compared to the rest of the bird kingdom, scientists agree, soaring birds have an almost blank mind, in mid flight. Only concentrating on the actual act of flight, using the jet stream to reach heights other birds can't, and they are able to do this thru training (from birth) and also thru an almost faith of the act learned from birth.

People are more like these three kinds of birds, then most care to realize. Some people are hammering away at life, like the "flappers" of aviation, never taking a break and just beating themselves to death, just to stay at mid flight, or where they feel is a safe altitude in life. Most of them, rarely take any chances, looking straight ahead. They do not stand for anything, becoming almost narcissistic in their plight to live, a "normal," yet non-confrontational life. They get up every morning to do the same mundane jobs, come home to watch the same television programs, and never have any real ideas and/or thoughts that will impact anyone, but themselves. There is a smaller group of people who are people are gliding, through life. They get just high enough to spread their wings, and impact a specific group of people. They have a direct agenda and it is to glide thru life, fulfilling the things that will benefit themselves, or a specific purpose. Most are either ideologues, leftists, and/or hypocrites, if they were to be analyzed. People who complain about the gas prices in the country, yet they glide thru life in SUV's and private planes. Maybe, they continue to preach of noble goals and things for others lives, but when put under the microscope, they are using their higher altitudes (over the common people, or "flappers") to manipulate systems, without having real answers. Continuing to look backwards, ensconce themselves with people of like minds and goals, but only to attain wealth, specific agendas, and keeping things in order, to benefit themselves and the other "gliders." Finally, the last group of people, and they only make up a minimal part of society. They are the people who are soaring. They do not have to think deeply on everyday topics, because the answers coming out of their mouth, is the truth. They know what truth is, as they are happy people, who others admire and see the fruits of their labor, and also their deeds put themselves behind the group. This type of person is found rarely, as they are soaring high above the fray, above the "flappers" and mundane, and most importantly are providing the checks on the "gliders"/elites/narcisistic people. However, they are not looking for the accolades, big salaries, and trivial things in this life, but rather are driven to soar above, by a deep and spiritual (whether religious, or not) soul. They espouse to rise above all of the things that truly do not matter, but dive deep into topics impacting the most of the people in the world.

In life, there are very few types of people. Most people (roughly 68-74% of people ages 16 to 45), in polls, do not believe there is an "absolute truth," allowing for a gray area where most people allow themselves to be held into, or some choose to live in. Most people, like the birds who are just building nests and flapping, or are gliding thru life, just enough to get what they need, do not think they can make any kind of a significant difference. Therefore, they go on self serving, no matter what the cost to the greater good. Another poll, proving this kind of thought, was taken by four different colleges, over the last six years. The people in the surveys, were asked if they thought that people could actually "change their lives, and/or thought." Between 75-83%, of those surveyed and polled, said that people would not change their thoughts, ways of life, and/or who they "essentially were." If this kind of thought process continues to keep on purveying, around the United States, the country will continue to move towards where the European Union is at, today. A country where people will feel as though, a few will always rule over the majority. This is far from where the United States "fathers" started, in making of the "Constitution," "The Bill of Rights," and even other things, as the civil rights movement, women's rights, and other significant changes in America. These things all started with a small group of people, soaring toward a common goal of change, for the betterment of society, as a whole. However, there are few people soaring at all. Instead, they continue to take the easy way out, focusing on themselves, never changing, or looking to change the people around them (the country), to suit themselves. There is a reason why the national bird is the eagle. The eagle is not just a symbol, but it is a beacon for every person in America, to realize they to can soar above and beyond. Every choice a person makes, is going to effect more than just the person making it. It is imperative, everyone looks toward the future, the choices to be made, and soar above the polarity, the constant banter of countless people serving themselves, and soaring over the partisanship, lying and deception of the people who want to step on whomever, to continue gliding into the same future.

The only person to stop this kind of mass hysteria, black hearted rhetoric, and obtrusive thinking is you. Soar above the rest of the "flappers" and "gliders" in the media, government, and in everyday life, who are holding you back. Only you can make a choice, to change and soar above the normal, or status quo.

$86,400 A DAY, A LESSON?

FROM: TheThoughtSpigot.com
http://www.thethoughtspigot.com/

There was an arrangement, where a man with massive amounts of wealth, decided to give $86,400 a day, to a poor family of his choice. The only catch was this:

1. At midnight, $86,400 would be put into the same family bank account, each day. 2. They were able to withdraw, spend the money on anything, but the money would NEVER carry over to the next day.

3. At 11:59 PM, each day, as the clock struck midnight, the account would liquidate all funds and would deposit a fresh $86,400, in the account.
4. I will ask you to do something for me, sometime, in your lifetime.

Both, the family and the man, agreed to the terms. Everyday, the family would withdraw the money and keep it in cashier's checks, for the first 363 days. After the 363 days, the family decided to see how much money they had spent, saved, and would be making in the future. It turned out, the family was set for life, had plenty of nice things, and would be able to keep on investing and doing what they were doing. However, on the 364th day, their benefactor decided to come and visit the family. The family welcomed him with open arms, but was curious to the meeting and what was in store for the future?

The man brought in the whole family (Mom, Dad, three kids, and others gathered) and he said, "I have given you this money, $86,400 a day, for a year now. I do not care what you have done with the money, what you have left, or what you have saved. However, I do care about the exact amount of money I have given you each day. I have come now to ask one thing of you, and also to let you know that tomorrow will be the last day, a deposit of $86,400 will be given to your family. I am sure you have more than enough saved and left over, so there should be no problem."

The father spoke and said, "We are forever grateful to your generosity, what is it that you wish us to do?"

The man said, "I was given two years to live, because I have cancer. Therefore, I had the idea to not only help a family in need, but also to show them a special way of looking at something. Here is what I am going to ask you all to do and tell you my idea.

I gave you $86,400 a day, to help you and for one reason. There are 86,400 seconds in a day. You do not get them back, once they are spent, you will never see them again, once they tick on. Once, the day is over, you do not get to carry any of the seconds over, to the next day. Each second is precious, more so, than the dollars you have received. Each second of the day, represents a different, special, and unique opportunity for everyone in the world and yourselves. You may use it to change, stay the same, or even squander the time given to you. Although, when you are out of time, there is none left, and you never know when you time is up. This is why I have come today, to let you know, before I am gone (which could be any second), there will be no more money, and I am asking you this; I want you to go out and live each second of your life, do not take anything for granted, and I want you to spread this message, for all it is worth, to you."

The family agreed and the old gentleman left, and they agreed to stay in touch. That never happened, and they were unable to ever speak again. The old man was supposed to live another two to four months, maybe a year, due to his ailments. However, on the way home, from the families house, a drunk man missed a stop sign and slammed into the man's car. The old man died instantly, but not before he got his message out.

NOW, "I" SAY TO ANYONE WHO MAY READ THIS: "There is 86,400 second in a day and each one of them count, because there is not anyone in the world, who knows when they will leave this earth. Please utilize, your seconds to mend old wounds, take advantage of all of the beauty and challenges around you, try something new and make yourself a better person, and most of all, make and impact on those around you, those you do not know and those you do know. Look at the beauty in your life and be thankful, but realize that you need to focus on each second and do the right thing for yourself, but more over for the greater good, each second.

Time stands still for no one. In life, there is no dress rehearsal. Please, LIVE your life, because you do not know, when the sand will run out of your hour glass. On any time line, there is always a starting point and an end."
