President Obama recently visited the Florida region, in order to spur travel, show the country the "Gulf is perfectly safe, and now he is off again. He will be touring several states over the next four days, thru the "Presidential Work Week" (if you will). Then, he will go to take another ten day vacation, with his family. Personally, the way Mr. Obama is handling a couple of issues, makes me want to give him praise and the benefit of the doubt. Yet, there is a wide window, and every time the benefit of the doubt, a good job is being done, from Capitol Hill, there is enough space in that window, for two things to be happening.
He goes to Florida, with his family, to show the country and world, the gulf is safe (also the next day, being the first day of fishing/shrimping, in the Gulf of Mexico), so a win-win, right? If the story ended there, it would be. However, President Obama decides to have a press conference, with a wide angle, showing his two TelePrompTer, wife and "team" right there. Therefore, it starts looking contrived. The next day, he shuts down the press photographers, stating "only" the "White House Photographer" only, would be giving a picture to the media. It comes out, but where he and his daughter are swimming is in the Jacksonville part of Florida, but it is more inland and not actually in the gulf, at all? This just came to the forefront on Tuesday.
This is another example, but it is the same principle. Friday, Barack Obama kicked off the "Ramadan Season" (the Islamic/Muslim Holy month), by having a multitude of Muslims from all around the world, to celebrate. In his statement/prepared speech, the President of the United States proceeded to talk about the States "not" being a "Christian Nation" and that the Muslim people (living in America), "have every right to build a mosque, on private property, and they would be protected under the law and it is welcome." When I first heard his comment, it was refreshing he spoke up and said "The Constitution" would not be trampled on, for Muslims to not be able to build that mosque. (I don't believe it should be built there, at least 5-7 blocks farther away, but they do have every right, under the law, to build it.) However, the very next day (Saturday), the press asked him about his quote and the dinner, since he got standing ovations and multiple rallies from his crowd, on Friday night (as they believed he was for them building it and it was right to do it), "What do you think about the philosophy (this question was asked multiple ways), of the mosque being built on what you admitted and called, "Hallowed Ground?" Instead of saying what he said and sticking to what he said, the night before, he changed and went legal speak on the matter. The problem with this, like the "gulf picture," is it looks like he will say whatever Barack Obama has to say, at that time, to make everyone happy. He did it in Cairo, Germany, and other places over seas, as well.
There are a few topics that are way ahead of the curve. The Mexican Border, Social Security, the economy, jobs, two wars, and the gulf (by the way, how does millions of barrels of oil, 75-80% just disappear, unless there was so much chemical put in the gulf and it is laying on the bottom of the 2-5 mile mark of the ocean, it is in?). However, when he does talk and try to tackle a problem, there is only a couple things coming out of his mouth: 1. Something that can be, or comes out as two different stories (like above). 2. He sends Robert Gibbs out and he doesn't answer the question (stating "I will have to check on that and get back to you", but there is never any "getting back" live, on CSPAN, for the American people to hear). 3. He talks down to the American people, or acts like/acts on, what he and his administration wants (not what the people want. See: Health Care, several different bail outs, the mosque, I digress). It will/would be (if it doesn't happen) for President Obama to come to the forefront, lead our country (without TelePrompTer and speeches), quit taking vacations, and quit worrying about the November elections, which is exactly what is going on. He is not wanting to lose the House and Senate, doesn't want anything to stick to the Democratic Brand, and he will not speak and look at what the majorities of Americans want and are worried about (jobs, the economy, the border, the gulf, the wars, this is in order, as of last week, of what Americans are most worried and want to know about).
It is time to stop and PROVE that his San Francisco comments (when he did not know that he was being taped, in a fund raiser of "upper crust" Democrats), where he said, about people in the middle of the country (Pennsylvania, is the state he spoke of by name and then he went on to the "middle of the country."), they (the middle people, middle class) cling to their guns, Bibles, are not good with different types and colors of people (which race is a staple in his office and speeches) etc...etc.
If people look at the above and couple it with, the fact he has been a walking apology for the U. S., every time he is out of the country. In Cairo, he apologized for America colonizing the Middle East. Yet, another double entendre, as he was placating the Muslim countries and crowds (while there) and the glaring problem that the U. S. has no colonies in the Middle East (U. S. bases, like in Kuwait and in the Middle East, but there is not a city of New York, Saudi Arabia, or Hollywood, Iran. Is there?)

Americans should love our country, our President, and all we have here in the states (where we are FAR from perfect, and have made mistakes, like the Crusades), as America has set more people free, fought in more countries for other wars (more than all other countries combined, in modern history), and has been a true beacon in the night, for the world. As people of such a wonderful country, Americans need to take up the mantle and demand from representatives (local, state and federal) honesty, no laws being broke (at least no felonies and cheating American's thru taxes and off shore accounts, both Dems. and Republicans), President Obama, in his last two years has to follow thru on being "the most transparent White House of all time," and no more double standards and/or two sides to every story coming out. Plus, less vacations and more working on the top five to eight things, "American People," are mostly concerned and worried about.
