Dealing With North Korea And Rogue Nations

Throughout history there have been tyrants, challengers for land, people and the spoils of war, and then those leaders who were brilliant and then some who were just plain nuts. From the beginning of time, people like kings (thru the "Old Testament" http://www.thebible.com/), Mohammed making a treaty in Mecca only to bring a 10,000+ man Muslim army back a year later to take over the city (for Islamic rule, in 630 AD), Napoleon, Hitler, Benito Mussolini (Italy WW II), Saloth Sar (a. k. a. Pol Pot, leader of the Khmer Rouge, leading to "The Killing Fields"), to today's leaders, such as, Osama Bin Laden, the Taliban (as a group), Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Iran), and of course Kim Jong-il (North Korea). All different leaders, with different rational for their horrid acts and deaths of countless lives, for reasons ranging from cultural, power, religion, hate, and some were just plain out of their heads (King Henry XIII, Kim Jong-il, etc..etc...). The reasons for these men doing the tragic acts, they plotted out, are as long as the history of people, themselves.

Therefore, how does the United States, in today's world, deal with people like Jong-il, who in just one week's time, has shown the U. S. North Korea's newest nuclear program (with plutonium, rather than the uranium facilities, U. S. intelligence believed was the only programs they had) and lobbing bombs into South Korea, killing two South Korean Soldiers, blowing up shopping centers and a handful of residential places? This, of course, not counting the fact North Korea's boldness, over the last year, having war games in South Korean waters, threatening South Korea's border (with United States soldiers standing by, with them), and the shooting of a South Korean Battleship with a torpedo. Barack Obama's actual statement, of "North Korea's actions being completely not acceptable" and starting the United States Navy towards Korea, for "joint war games," with the South Korean Government is a good start. However, the United States is not looking to start a third war, with a nuclear nation. The minute air strikes, missiles from ships, or anything else hits the North, all bets are off, on what Kim Jong-il's response will be.

Yet, this is not the biggest problem facing Obama, the U. S., and it's allies in the Asian Region. In fact, there are two huge problems, if the South Korean Government was to start another "Korean War." China will immediately start cyber attacks on the United States, will drop our debt and lower their own currency (causing a world wide economic catastrophe), and this will draw in Japan and other countries into choosing sides (including the N. A. T. O. allies, who are not economically in a sound position, making it not a "gimme" they will side with the United States, or may just sit it out). The second problem is that, as Hillary Clinton said in February of 2010, "We just do not know what the North Korean's have proliferated, in the nuclear area," so there may be a chance of Iran, Syria, or other rogue elements (Al-Queada, other Muslim terrorists) to bring in a nuclear suitcase, or just start a string of "lone wolf" attacks (using conventional explosives) all over the country and in Europe, South Korea, and Japan.

At the present time, there is no clear cut idea how to handle North Korea, other than begging China to step in, as hard ball may back fire and the "carrot and the stick option" (used over the past 20 years, with the North Korea regime) hasn't worked at all. Dealing with these tyrants, mad men, or whatever else these leaders can be classified as, is a tough situation all the way around. Especially, when they are allowed thru weak treaties, no verification by U. S. departments (on whether they are fulfilling obligations on nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons), and a milk toast foreign policy. The bottom line is to stop these people (see Iran) from obtaining and utilizing their power, when obtaining certain things which threaten the whole world, in the first place. As after they have obtained these weapons of mass destruction, or have leaders in place who are just not mentally stable and willing to do whatever they wish, for whatever reasons they deem necessary, the world and the U. S. will continue to be behind the eight ball. Let us all hope, world wide, thru this Thanksgiving holiday, things will level out, calmer heads will prevail, and the rogue states of the world will possibly come to their senses (either naturally, thru other countries putting pressure on them, or a Godly intervention), as no country needs to loose anymore lives, across the globe.

"Use This Autumn, Plan Ahead To Impact Another...."

In this picture, at one time in our lives, we all felt this safe. This picture was taken at a "Pet Expo" in Kansas City. There was a giant Newfoundland laying on the blanket, with kids just walking up and giving him some love, petting him, and some (like this little one) just sat down with a picture. A three and a half year old boy, sits down next to a dog, who could easily kill him (if he was to turn on him) and not one person could stop it. However, he new no better and this little tike was in his comfort zone, as he knew no better and the rough trials of life have not jaded, changed, or made him have self-absorbed worries. Therefore, he is living a simple life, pleasing his parents and living a truely happy life.

You may be able to give this feeling back to another person. Helping them to have a better holiday season, Thanksgiving, or winter time. One change and action can make this new season a beautiful one, if people get out of their comfort zone and try to make a diffeerence. Try to utilize the next 8-9 days (2 months) to do something for someone, besides yourselves/family, and make an impact. Donate some clothes and/or food to a church/pantry/Salvation Army (as winter is coming and they are in need), walk for Breast Cancer, just do anything that will get you out of YOUR comfort zone, to IMPACT someone else's life. Help someone else, get some peace and safety, coming into this winter season.

Without people getting out, working hard to get into the lives of others (to help), and just overall trying to work hard to make our country and the world a better place, we are all bound to fail, together. The winter is a bleak time for the homeless, unemployed, disabled, depressed, and others with problems, so step outside yourself, help someone at a grocery store get something off the top shelf, hold a door, or go the extra mile(s) and do something even more provocative/productive.

Last thing and please do not forget, the fall/autumn is when most places/churches run their clothing, food, and currency drives. Please check into your favorite charity, church, or use some of the sites listed (100% trusted and guaranteed), to make that impact for someone less fortunate, fallen to the economy, or just needs some help.

Peace and God Bless You,

Why "Great" Teams Are Diving & Chiefs Are 3-0?

Living in the Midwest has it's drawbacks, but it also has it wonderful perks, as well. As a rule, people who follow sports, live and die with the team around their city, and even if they are not fans, they love to follow and bash them (See: K. C. Royals, Chiefs, Cleveland Indians, Browns, Denver Nuggets, etc..etc...). Hence, this article was born. Sports is not just a bunch of gifted and "bigger" than the normal people, with skills, and those skills propel them to win (See: K. C. Royals in '85, Cardinals '83, N. Y. Jets '09, Boise State, the last three years). Hence, the term/saying, "There is no "I" in "TEAM." These are team sports, and there are several reasons why a team, like the K. C. Chiefs (this year) are 3-0, while Bret Favre's Vikings are 1-2 (with their win, over Detroit, who's RB was hurt the second half and their #1 draft pick, last year, is done for the year). Kansas City should go 10-6 this year, while the Vikings should go 9-7. K. C. will get a wild card seat, and Minnesota will just miss the playoffs.

Regardless of team sport, the only way they will win year in and out (Patriots, Lakers, Devil Rays, Jayhawks) is thru playing as a team and as individuals, knowing your role and shutting your mouth. Sticking with the Chiefs and Vikings, as the rule/example, this is glaring right now. For the Vikings, they have Sidney Rice (http://sidneyrice.com/) out for the first half of the season, Brett Favre is not healthy, and the Defense (Jared Allen) are playing as individuals, period. The Minnesota Vikings (http://minnesotavikings.com/) were one game away from the Super Bowl, last year, but that was last year. The Chiefs (http://kansascitychiefs.com/) were not good last year and were not picked above the Chargers (who they beat in the opening game) and Denver, much less having a 3-0 start. The Chiefs, unlike the Vikings, players know their roles, as of now. Dexter McCluster, one of the Chiefs top picks, out of Mississippi, this year is serving as a fast slot receiver, running back, special teams return guy, and he gives 100% every snap. Matt Cassel, unlike Favre (http://brettfavre.com/) who should not have come back this year, is making the short passes, not turning the ball over and is making a big play when he has it (42 yard strike to Bowe) and also checks down/throws the swing pass/looks for 2nd and 3rd options. The stats from week three games, of both the Chiefs and Vikings, tells the story of the two QB's, right now:

Favre 23 of 34, 231 yards, 1 TD, 2 int's Cassel 16/27 251 yards, 3 TD's, 1 Int

Another example of the difference from the Chiefs and Vikings, is they are not playing like every play is their last play. Football is truly a "game of inches." Read anything you can on Vince Lombardi (http://vincelombardi.com/), as he showed and coached every game, getting his team to buy into that kind of a mind set. The Chiefs are not playing every down this way, and it is truly because (my opinion), the days (for most players) of playing every down, play, pitch like it is your last, are over. Money and attitude has crept into ALL major league games, and into the colleges, giving coaches a harder time to pick the best players. Even in the interviews, OTA's, and all the tests they test players on, before drafting them, coaches and general managers choose players, as best they can. The Chiefs have a very young team, while the Vikings are made up of mostly veterans. The Chiefs are playing hungry, while the Vikings look like they are playing for themselves, stats and the "highlight play." With the exception of Adrian Peterson (http://adrianpeterson.com/) Shiancoe (TE) and E. J. Henderson (LB), as of now, are the only players who would "fit" on the Chiefs roster. This is due to age (Favre, Berrian), superstar attitudes (Allen), and poor execution and blaming others, after. The Chiefs being young and led by a quarterback not 100% tested (Matt Cassel, out for the whole season last year) they have a handful of plays a game, like the Vikings have, more than half the time. However, the Chiefs are playing hard, are winning in any way they can, and all the players are playing for time, for the win, but most importantly for the WIN. They are not "phoning in the win," like the Vikings look like this year (or the Saints looked like, last Sunday Night, week 3, who also, lost).

Last, the reason the Chiefs are a playoff team and the Vikings are not, is the Vikings have not made the choices, draft picks and trades to retool their team, but the Chiefs have. The Chiefs, grant it because they have struggled for a while, so they have had higher draft picks, have made the deals (Cassel, Thomas Jones, Chris Chambers), trades (getting rid of Jared Allen, for high picks and cash), and they have built the team thru the drafts and from the defensive side of the ball (Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali, Eric Berry, etc..etc..). Yet, they have also made good on their late draft picks and the "signings" (meaning the team didn't draft the player, but every other team passed on them, and they picked them up in the supplemental draft, or just signed them as a free agent). In the third round, the Chiefs picked up tight end, Tony Meoaki, from Iowa in the third round. He is in the top five of statistics for all tight ends in the NFL, as a rookie, and wasn't "hugely" touted, coming out of college (at least not to the extent he is playing). Eric Berry, safety, is playing like his job is on the line, not like the number one pick of the Chiefs, who will play either way. This attitude comes from the coach, period. Everything starts from day one, with a coach who either gets it, knows his players (which ones to coddle, which ones to hammer, and those to leave alone, as they know what they did wrong, and those to praise). Todd Haley, the Chief's head coach, is doing a great job, in leading a team of first thru fourth year players. While, Viking's head coach, Brad Childress, has reigned in Brett Favre and the options he has at the line. A man who has not missed a game, since he started his first game in the NFL (http://nfl.com/), now has a leash on him? His nickname, the gunslinger, now has his guns put in his holsters? All this, after almost going to the Super Bowl, last year. Is this good coaching, while Jared Allen is celebrating "assist tackles," with his patented celebration?

I could write a novel on just these two teams, so I will end this with just three examples. However, when the Chiefs are in the playoffs, and the Vikings are at home for them, Favre retires, the Vikings have to have two to three years of "rebuilding" and the Chiefs start reloading, don't say that nobody spoke up, or had any idea. This did not just come out of the blue skies. All this and I am a Rams fan, and can't stand the Chiefs.

No Thin Skin, Obama Must Become A Leader, Not Play Two Sides Of Issues

President Obama recently visited the Florida region, in order to spur travel, show the country the "Gulf is perfectly safe, and now he is off again. He will be touring several states over the next four days, thru the "Presidential Work Week" (if you will). Then, he will go to take another ten day vacation, with his family. Personally, the way Mr. Obama is handling a couple of issues, makes me want to give him praise and the benefit of the doubt. Yet, there is a wide window, and every time the benefit of the doubt, a good job is being done, from Capitol Hill, there is enough space in that window, for two things to be happening.

He goes to Florida, with his family, to show the country and world, the gulf is safe (also the next day, being the first day of fishing/shrimping, in the Gulf of Mexico), so a win-win, right? If the story ended there, it would be. However, President Obama decides to have a press conference, with a wide angle, showing his two TelePrompTer, wife and "team" right there. Therefore, it starts looking contrived. The next day, he shuts down the press photographers, stating "only" the "White House Photographer" only, would be giving a picture to the media. It comes out, but where he and his daughter are swimming is in the Jacksonville part of Florida, but it is more inland and not actually in the gulf, at all? This just came to the forefront on Tuesday.

This is another example, but it is the same principle. Friday, Barack Obama kicked off the "Ramadan Season" (the Islamic/Muslim Holy month), by having a multitude of Muslims from all around the world, to celebrate. In his statement/prepared speech, the President of the United States proceeded to talk about the States "not" being a "Christian Nation" and that the Muslim people (living in America), "have every right to build a mosque, on private property, and they would be protected under the law and it is welcome." When I first heard his comment, it was refreshing he spoke up and said "The Constitution" would not be trampled on, for Muslims to not be able to build that mosque. (I don't believe it should be built there, at least 5-7 blocks farther away, but they do have every right, under the law, to build it.) However, the very next day (Saturday), the press asked him about his quote and the dinner, since he got standing ovations and multiple rallies from his crowd, on Friday night (as they believed he was for them building it and it was right to do it), "What do you think about the philosophy (this question was asked multiple ways), of the mosque being built on what you admitted and called, "Hallowed Ground?" Instead of saying what he said and sticking to what he said, the night before, he changed and went legal speak on the matter. The problem with this, like the "gulf picture," is it looks like he will say whatever Barack Obama has to say, at that time, to make everyone happy. He did it in Cairo, Germany, and other places over seas, as well.

There are a few topics that are way ahead of the curve. The Mexican Border, Social Security, the economy, jobs, two wars, and the gulf (by the way, how does millions of barrels of oil, 75-80% just disappear, unless there was so much chemical put in the gulf and it is laying on the bottom of the 2-5 mile mark of the ocean, it is in?). However, when he does talk and try to tackle a problem, there is only a couple things coming out of his mouth: 1. Something that can be, or comes out as two different stories (like above). 2. He sends Robert Gibbs out and he doesn't answer the question (stating "I will have to check on that and get back to you", but there is never any "getting back" live, on CSPAN, for the American people to hear). 3. He talks down to the American people, or acts like/acts on, what he and his administration wants (not what the people want. See: Health Care, several different bail outs, the mosque, I digress). It will/would be (if it doesn't happen) for President Obama to come to the forefront, lead our country (without TelePrompTer and speeches), quit taking vacations, and quit worrying about the November elections, which is exactly what is going on. He is not wanting to lose the House and Senate, doesn't want anything to stick to the Democratic Brand, and he will not speak and look at what the majorities of Americans want and are worried about (jobs, the economy, the border, the gulf, the wars, this is in order, as of last week, of what Americans are most worried and want to know about).

It is time to stop and PROVE that his San Francisco comments (when he did not know that he was being taped, in a fund raiser of "upper crust" Democrats), where he said, about people in the middle of the country (Pennsylvania, is the state he spoke of by name and then he went on to the "middle of the country."), they (the middle people, middle class) cling to their guns, Bibles, are not good with different types and colors of people (which race is a staple in his office and speeches) etc...etc.

If people look at the above and couple it with, the fact he has been a walking apology for the U. S., every time he is out of the country. In Cairo, he apologized for America colonizing the Middle East. Yet, another double entendre, as he was placating the Muslim countries and crowds (while there) and the glaring problem that the U. S. has no colonies in the Middle East (U. S. bases, like in Kuwait and in the Middle East, but there is not a city of New York, Saudi Arabia, or Hollywood, Iran. Is there?)
Americans should love our country, our President, and all we have here in the states (where we are FAR from perfect, and have made mistakes, like the Crusades), as America has set more people free, fought in more countries for other wars (more than all other countries combined, in modern history), and has been a true beacon in the night, for the world. As people of such a wonderful country, Americans need to take up the mantle and demand from representatives (local, state and federal) honesty, no laws being broke (at least no felonies and cheating American's thru taxes and off shore accounts, both Dems. and Republicans), President Obama, in his last two years has to follow thru on being "the most transparent White House of all time," and no more double standards and/or two sides to every story coming out. Plus, less vacations and more working on the top five to eight things, "American People," are mostly concerned and worried about.

NCAA, IRONICALLY, SHOWS COUNTRY WHOLE BULL, WITH KILLING BIG 12

The mighty have fallen (due to cheating), if there was ever ANY doubt about NCAA sports being about money (there is NONE now) and not the athletes/student athletes, and there is NO shred of actual allegiance to anything, in college athletics anymore (for players, coaches, athletic directors, or teams). There isn't anyone, unless not a sports fan, or they were living under a rock for the last week that hasn't heard about the disintegration of the NCAA's Big XII Conference, bulking of up the first "Super Conference" (what should be known as the PAC-16), and the fact USC received the death penalty, due to Reggie Bush (with family) and O. J. Mayo's taking money, housing and "extras" (to come and play at the University of Southern California). However, the biggest shot, for the American public to take a look at "the real side" of college sports, it's corruption, lack of integrity, and overall money bound principled staffing is the fiasco in the Big 12 and Pac-10 conferences. The fact Colorado has already signed with the Pac-10, Nebraska is all but in the Big 10, and all the southern schools (except Baylor, in the Big 12) are leaving the way of West Coast football, the land of the Pete Carroll's, countless allegations, felonies, thugs of players, and cheating (see Reggie Bush, OJ Mayo/O.J. Mayo, and Oregon's football team).

First things first, there was supposed to be a Nebraska and Missouri situation, both leaving for the Big X. However, MU was not the draw, which Nebraska was (at least money, television rights, and outright sales, merchandise and otherwise), so the University of Missouri is a college without a conference, right now. Yet, Nebraska is basically in, with the Big X, all top athletic people and dean's saying, "All that needs to be done, is for them to sign on the dotted line." Next is the University of Colorado, the first to make the exodus to the "Pac-10," on paper. Colorado is not the bastion of sports, but they have the third biggest television market (for NCAA sports) in the West Coast area, bring a huge basket of cash with them, and is the sixteenth team (in the future "Pac-16").

The wild cards in all of this are the Texas A&M Aggie's, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and the two big time draws, the Oklahoma Sooner's and Texas Longhorns. These teams, with Colorado, will be the "Super Conference" (as it is being called on talk sports radio, ESPN and other sporting outlets), the "Pac-16." There are two HUGE problems lurking and showing a big light on the underbelly of college sports. Missouri getting the shaft, from the Big 10, as they were not good enough, couldn't draw away from KU, KSU, and Nebraska for the west half of Missouri (state), and they are just not good in any one sport, much less with any big tradition (in any one sport, like Texas Football, KU basketball, etc..etc..). They will either end in a weaker and less money conference, such as, the WAC (Western Athletic Conference), the Missouri Valley (which is probably to small), but likely they will (with no loss of irony, having UMKC being in this situation) an independent team. As the Notre Dame Fighting Irish would be FOOLS not to take the offer, that is definitely coming their way, via the Big 10 (imagine, UND, with the likes of Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa, etc... just in football alone.

The second big problem is the Kansas Jayhawks and the Baylor Bears are left fending for themselves. This is where KU will show, if the mass journey of Texas Teams, to the Pac-10 wasn't enough proof, the whole NCAA sports program, across the nation is corrupt, greedy and is full of holes in their systems. Of course, there will still be other teams without a conference, come the near future (Iowa State, Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State, and Baylor), but KU (especially) has been a household name brand, nationwide, thru their men's basketball alone for years, but they have also had big seasons in baseball, bowl games in football, and much success with lesser known sports. They will land on their feet, due to money and the television rights they can bring alone, and they will go to a BIG TIME conference, at the most premium price. The biggest loser and what shows/proves this theory of the ugly side of college sports and Baylor Bears, who has exploded onto the sports scene in men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and big bowl games in football, not counting the lesser known sports, like track where they have excelled. Out of all the schools, Baylor packs the biggest punch for their GPA's. Baylor, as a school (not just athletes, yet counting them) is the 51st highest ranked GPA undergrad program in the country (highest in the Big 12), and it has over 6 other specialty fields (education, science, and others). Yet, this counts little, if any, in the eyes of the boosters, television sponsors, and all standing to make a buck in this monstrosity of a shift, in the college landscape.

There is only one thing, which has been true for a long time, the dollar is king in NCAA Sports and schooling, period. From before the times of the "Nike Air" shoe and Michael Jordan (though it was NEVER this bad and blatant), it has been the same. The difference now is the coaches (Lane Kiffin, blazing Tennessee after one year, to USC), to athletic directors treating the athletes as cattle (instead of student athletes, where they HAVE TO go to class and make those grades, for longer than a year), to the top of the NCAA System and Chairpersons are not teaching our young people how to be ethical, break the rules as long as you get something out of it, at that time (taking barrels of cash, homes for their parents, Reggie Bush and O. J. Mayo, just to name the last two. As the "Rush Brothers" thru KU, came with a price tag and Roy Williams blazed for Tar Heels, of North Carolina), and they are not teaching them the fundamentals of being men and women, of strong minds, bodies and souls. Instead, they soak every cent off of their sweaty, salt laden bodies, and leave them to wolves. Most of these student/athletes, leave school without degrees, some not able to read and write properly, and the least of the crimes against our college youth is nothing is expected of them, as the example before them has been laid.

Notre Dame Smacks #7 Cornell, To Go To NCAA LaCrosse Finals

Notre Dame came out today and just handed the #7 team in the land, a smacking 12-7. Notre Dame who snuck into the field as a "Bubble Team," unranked, has beaten three power house lacrosse teams, to get to play on Memorial Day. Neil Hicks with four goals, the defense stiffling the Cornell power offense, and Scott Rogers (6'4'' 250 lbs.) with stellar play in goal, is what powered the Irish past "The Big (or not so big) Red."

They will play either Duke #5 (who they beat earlier in the year, dramatically, but lead by the number one scorer Ned Crotty and C. J. Crostefield), or the #1 team in the land (with the best player in the land, in Shamel Bratton). Bratton, if they do beat Duke, can single handedly beat a team, he is that good. However, Notre Dame has the bragging rights, as of now, going to the finals, as an unranked team (the first time since UMASS in 2006).

It would be nice for an Irish Title in something, since the NCAA Basketball team laid an egg, two years in a row. :)

Peace, God Bless, and Go IRISH!!!!!!

The Acropolis, 24/7 News, Hollywood, & Individual Choice

All people, throughout time, have had many different platforms to state their cases. The Acropolis, Theatre of Dionysus, "The Temple" (of Biblical times, where all branches and theological statements/beliefs came from), to the more recent places (Shakespeare's ) Globe Theatre, and so on. Past the turn of the 20th century, came silent movies, television, color television, and then major theatrical theatre and big budget movies. In the beginning, these famous and infamous places were where people came from all around, to hear others speak and hear the thoughts, politics, and overall big ticket items of the day (including religion, war, and the world, as they/people thought they knew it).

Throughout history, there have always been places and people who utilized the opportunity of the day, to embark on what they believed in to change times and people. However, as technology and the world "advanced," in the early to mid-1920's, there was a huge switch in bringing information and a person's ideas, to the forefront. Instead, there became a wave of "a person not going to here the issues they wanted" to "the issues and whatever slant that came with them, coming to the person." The whistle of the "Andy Griffith Show" is unmistakable to the majority of the world, whether you have seen an episode, or not. As time has gone on, the "Family Ties," "Mary Tyler Moore Show," "The Cosby Show" with a bevy of other quality watching (quality meaning very few, if any, double innuendo television, yet still tackling issues of the day) shows, for families has gone by the way side. In their places, have come shows like "The Simpsons," "Family Guy," "Glee," "South Park" and "Lost" filling the airwaves with anti-family, pro-homosexual, and a general degradation of the family, conservative thought, and overall a filling of most episodes with Anti-Christian thought(s).

Same is for the news, or what actually acts as the news, today. "Time," "Life," "Walter Cronkite" and others in the 50's thru the late 1980's brought a close to balanced shot, to the people, in their homes, every night. While their has always been a pressure for political dominance of the minds of the people, in America and the world, there has never been such a revolt, as the last 15-20 years has shown. Where the "main stream media" was the place to go, for the actual facts, pictures and stories showing Vietnam (in a war time footage, not in a story about the war), not slamming and taking slant sides, and most of all not invading the homes of America with an agenda. Then came the 24 hour news cycle and the Net, which has changed the world and the way people look at the news forever. When a man/woman could have gone to work, come home and watched the news, read a newspaper, or the majority of top esteemed periodicals, they could work and get the news, raise a family and not try to be swayed into a liberal/conservative point of view. Yet, in today's world, the majority of people in the U. S. are saying, "I don't have time to look at multiple web sites, read multiple views and papers, I have a family to raise and a life to live." This is where the problem comes in, people are generally in a state of apathy, and they will ingest anything fed to them. Which is the point of what is coming out of the tube, the Net, and print in general.

This does not even count the "Hollywood Effect." Movies like "Lions for Lambs," "In the Valley of Ellah," and "Avatar," have come out with agendas, for the left. Of course there are far right/right/conservative movies, with the same agenda, to make more conservative voters, or to get a conservative point of view out. However, looking at Hollywood, aside from "Passion of the Christ" and Kirk Cameron's "Fireproof" how many "TRUE" right wing/far right movies are out, and if compared it is about 20 to 1 (far left movies to far right, coming out). Hollywood has transformed itself, over the years (just taking from the last 10 years) from bashing President Bush, the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, to making a concerted effort to "go green." Actually, making the "Go Green" (not talking about the people who do not want to pollute the earth, or do their parts in life to make the earth a better place) effort, into the new religion of the day. If we lived in the times of the "Jewish Temple" (around Christ's time), there would be a massive effort thru speak, story, and fable/falsehood to show (like in AVATAR) the "Green Effort," "Cap and Trade" and so on, is trying to replace God, and make the "Green Revolution" a Religion. The "Green Church" is not even proven science, but to look at the news, Net, papers, magazines, major "stars of television and movies," most would think we would be close to being under water. Coming from Al Gore's mouth, himself, (the man who said, "I created the Internet" and stands to gain close to $500 million, if "Cap and Trade" the "Green Church" is a success) said, 5-6 years ago, he felt as though within 15 years, we would have glaciers melting, causing the oceans to gain up to 4-5 feet of water (causing catastrophic problems, across the world). Well, as of now, we are only 4-8 years from Gore's prediction. What have we learned? The "hockey stick information/scale" on global warming, was false and there was countless emails, which were falsified and/or lost/shredded? The "Church of Green" has even been seeped into the actual church's of today, thru the E. P. A.. The E. P. A. has sent out countless memo's to churches of all stripes, leaders, and pastors to encorporate the "Eco-Friendly" message into their sermons, homilies, talks, and overall if they do, money will come their way. This is causing and fueling the Hollywood, Al Gore crowd to howl out, Earth first, God, Capitalism, America second.

Of course, there is two sides to every story, but in today's world we all live in, we are being manipulated thru these three venues, and have been for about 20 years now. If you do not see this, then you are blind, or just do not care to look. I am sure there will be those screaming out "I don't have time to find the facts, read this book, or research multiple sets of ideas." It is always easier to cry out, "I can't make a difference," than actually taking the time, whittling out something in your life, and going strong with belief, rather than just choking down the patented lines, in every paper, most news shows, television shows (killing the American family), and spending endless amounts of cash on movies, which are against what our forefathers taught and believed in. Like I said, there will always be a Marquis De Sade, Rush Limbaugh, MSNBC, and countless other entities, as we go thru life. It is up to every individual to decide for themselves, if they are going to stand on the steps of the Acropolis, the Temple, watch Fox News/MSNBC/CNN, go to see AVATAR, or read "The Turner Diaries." The bottom line, it is up to you, NOT to make excuses on what you can't do, that one person can't make a difference, or just stay ignorant. Then again, you might want to take 30-45 minutes a day to check all channels, get off YouTube and visit intelligent sites (for actual different views on one topic, or major topics we are faced with), and/or read "Time/Newsweek" and then pick up "The Washington Times/Wall Street Journal/The Drudge Report" to check things out for yourself. Ultimately, it is up to you.

Obama, "You have made enough money," How Much Is That?

Is this to much icing, for these cinnamon rolls? Maybe, maybe not, but it is for the person to decide, right? President Obama started the remark with, "I want to be clear, we are not 'pushing' financial reform', because we begrudge success that is 'fairly earned.' However, he then goes off script, or TelePrompTer (literally), saying, "I do think at a certain point, 'you have made enough money.' If you are providing a good product, or a good service." The only remark, not prepared in his speech ahead of time, he says, (repeating) "You have made enough money."

One can only compare this to some other things in real life, as this comment (I am sure it will be classified, as a 'joke', by the time this hits the news channels, or the mainstream media will classify it as so), is almost to unbelievable. How much it to much sun on a flower? To much sun on a flower, is when the flower dies, or starts to wilt. How much is to much rain? When it starts to flood, is usually when there is to much rain. However, when it is raining for two days, some people can't do construction work, lawn and outdoor work, and other kinds of work and things dealing with the weather. Yet, those same two days of rain, also allow the grass to grow, allow inside merchants, retail shops, and movie theatres to have more people attend, to stay out of the rain. Therefore, it may be "to much" for some, but not "to much" for others. Right? Therefore, how much is "to much money" and why do we have the President of the United States dictating it?

The answer should not surprise anyone. President Obama has been 100% honest, on this topic of "sharing the wealth," "bailing out, as companies are 'to big to fail'," and that he would "fundamentally transform America," but to much money to President Obama and most Dems. on Capitol Hill, is the extra money you do not need to live, in order to give it to those who are less fortunate, poor, in the lower middle to lower monetary class (poor). However, America did not start this cycle with President Obama, as President George W. Bush's last two years (backed by Democrat super majorities), was the start of stimulus and bailing out. Thinking back, President Bush allowed the "Obama transition team" into the White House early, to make a more "seamless transition," on the economy. However, back to the topic at hand, and "to much money?" In Russia, as early as the early to mid 1990's (some still say today, to a lesser degree, myself being one), they practiced the spreading of wealth, Socialist tenants, and trying to make a one class society. This is what Socialism is all about, spreading the wealth and making everyone "equal."

There is one major problem with this whole philosophy, and it is that the "Founding Fathers" never intended for the government to be this much in our business, telling us that we can't have a "day of prayer" (yet, we have a whole week dedicated to "clean earth week/earth week"), Socialized Health Care (which is what the Health Care Law/Bill is, when you are demanded by the government to buy a product, which happens to be health care. It is not reform.), and/or saying "how much money we can make, should make." Showing exactly, what is wrong with Washington, President Obama, and the "lefties" of the country. It flies in the face of our founders, of "The Constitution" and the American way of life for over 300 years (for the most part). President Obama is traveling around the country talking to "regular Americans," though there are strict measures in place to attend the speeches, making it a mainly democrat group, so there is not backlash. Actually, when he made the "to much money" comment, the crowd gave an uneasy, but none the less, acted as if it were a joke, laughing.

Spending is out of control in Washington (across the board), we have countless regimes against us (China holding our debt hostage, Iran with Nuclear aspirations, North Korea just being, well North Korea, etc), and an almost $13 trillion debt, as of now. This is all from the government spending to much money and making more entitlement programs (such as the 116 new bureaucracies, 16,000 IRS agents alone, just for the new Health Care Bill/Law). So let me ask two questions: If there is a "to much money" level for Americans, or that is what Obama and the Democrats want, when will they stop spending? Second, how much, is to much money for you and is this what we want for our country?

Gates & Clinton, Get Hints Of Air Strikes From Israel

As time ticks by, over half the "Bush Years" and over a full year into President Obama's first tem, there is still nothing with any teeth on the board, to stop Iran from having nuclear weapons. Yet, the patented line, "we are working with our partners and the U.N.," comes from both Hillary Clinton and Robert Gates. After meeting with Israel's defense minister, Ehud Barak, Gates' response, to reporters was, "I am very satisfied with the planning process in the building and in the inner agency. We spend a lot of time on Iran, and will continue to do so." In contrary to his statement, he also said, "Hamas has more rockets and missiles, than most countries militaries." Hillary Clinton's, minimal words (after meeting with officials from the E. U.), "The United States is working with our partners with the United Nations and the European Union on tough new sanctions that will "further sharpen" the choices that Iran's leaders face." Really?

Of course, most people are not "geo-political experts" and nobody (unless deep in the governments) knows what classified material Israel and "allied nations" are looking at. However, anyone who does have any business experience, at all, knows that if there is a continuous problem, there must be actual actions taken to solve the problem. Therefore, why is it that either Gates and/or Clinton, all of the U. S., E. U., and "allied nations" leaders and delegates not locked in a room, for however long it takes to stop this out of control country? Of course, it is not that simple, nothing in government and world wide politics ever is, but the same principle still applies. If there is time for our "leaders" (world wide), who say they can "walk and chew gum at the same time," to banter about immigration, the economy, housing, and a plethora of other things, then why is there not time and a concerted effort to take a week, two, or a month (four hours a day, till it is done), to put sanctions on Iran (with "teeth" in the sanctions)? Answer, nobody can do anything about Iran, until Russia and China come on board.

The only thing that is going to make Iran stop it's nuclear options are either Iran doing it themselves (which isn't going to happen, by their own rhetoric), the whole free world and the U. N. and N. A. T. O. countries to stop all flow of natural and refined gasoline to Iran (by blocking the "Straight of Hormus," where Iran just got finished having "war games.") and an embargo/trade freeze with Iran across the board (which would definitely hurt the Iranian people and President Obama has said he would not do), or else Israel is going to "temporarily stop" Iran, by using it's superior air power to hit nuclear targets, inside Iran. The problem with the last option, which everyone in the world knows, once Israel starts the air raids (which Barak hinted at, in the press conference, with Gates), Hamas and Hezbollah will open up with massive air/missile strikes. When that happens, it will make the last "War Over Lebanon" look like a walk in the park. Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and just about all of Israel will be in play, for rocket attacks, and NOBODY knows if they have the biological and/or chemical tips, for those rockets (for sure).

At a stand still for over 6 years, on this issue, it is now up to the United States, President Obama, and the rest of the world to: 1. get those severely tough sanctions in place (making sure that Russia, and China is either on board, or off, but continuing either way, with the majority of the countries backing this. 2. Israel will start the air raids, probably right after the U. S. summer and before elections in the U. S. (as the Prime Minister of Israel and Obama are at odds, and have been, since he has taken office. This proven by the 72% of Israel people stating that they feel President Barack Obama is an "Anti-Semite". (Their words, not mine)

President Obama and the U. S. will have to decide on whether to help, or not, Israel with the Hamas/Hezbollah problem (sure to come), and there is not guarantee on that. 3. Iran will go nuclear. Out of these three steps, the way the problem is being pushed to the back, politicians using nickel and dime tactics (in the U. S. and world wide) to try to stop Iran, and the bold in your face disregard, for world wide sentiment of Iran, it does not look good for the United States, the E. U., or the fact this will start an arms race in the Middle East. Only God knows, what will happen, but let's all not kid ourselves. At the moment, there looks to be NOTHING on the road, looking promising, in stopping Iran from going nuclear. Therefore, Gates, Clinton and ultimately President Obama have made the U. S. look even more weak, then it does economically and world wide, at present. Which is a tough task to do, much less accomplish it. However, tough times and tough questions/problems, deserve tough actions and decisive measures. If President Obama would look at the Iranian problem, like he did the Health Care problem, then the United States might be in another place. At least, he would have done more than President G. W. Bush did, who is still the whipping boy for the left.

South Park, Moderrate Muslims, & A Milk Toast USA?

Think about this: South Park has made hard core attempts, at satarism on Christ and Christians, Christmas, Easter, Christian Dogma, Jewish Dogma, but for some reason Muslims are off limits? How about all are off limits, or none are off limits? Or better yet, how about the "moderate Muslims" taking their religion back. Rather, than having it "Hi-Jacked" (pun intended), by a bunch of insane sword wielding, head cutting off, IED using, killing civilians (BEFORE Iraq and Afghanistan), and treating their women like cattle? How about that?

Rather than "Matt and Trey" (as the Muslim group called them), punking out, taking the cheap shots at religions who do not fight back, or will not strike out (as a rule, of course there are "wing nuts"/"idiots" in every religion, and those who are completely misguided and violent, WITHOUT religion), maybe "Matt and Trey" could be satirists on things like Obama's Nuclear meeting, Health Care, and/or three legged dogs (I would say former President Bush, but they already had a field day, for eight years with him, in South Park and their movies), I DON'T CARE!

What I do care about, is the majority of "moderate Muslims" NOT speaking up and taking back what is their faith, Christians not doing the same (though they are not taken seriously, when they do, as a rule), and I deeply care that NONE (that I have seen) on TV, have reported on what is happening in Indonesia. Does anyone know that they are battling Al-Queada/Muslim Terrorists in the streets, policemen (just last week) were overrun and killed (with swords and limbs hacked off) in the streets (now they are not wearing "police uniforms" out of fear), but the only thing on Indonesia is that President Obama canceled his trip. Nobody cared to report why, he didn't go, they blamed it on the volcano, but could have taken Air Force I, WEST OVER CALIFORNIA, to get to Indonesia and Australia. Instead, the news has nothing and the government is not talking about any of it at all?

Everyone is "fair game", but Muslims. Why? It is all just ridiculous. Especially, after reading this article, and how they handled it (like a black box and bleeping things, doesn't tell what is going on, this week). Plus, this isn't even a show I would let infect my mind (although, I have seen every example, in an episode somewhere, of what I have sited, in this article). I just don't get this whole "Politically Correct" for some, milk toast, apologize for America first, say anything about any religion (BUT Muslims), and how our country is becoming a caricature of itself, as we sink more and more. GARBAGE!!!! Of course, just my opinion, which everyone is entitled to have. Before responding to this, saying I am drumming up violence and/or saying I am short sighted, realize I can only type so much (without writing a book here), and read the whole article and THINK before you respond.

Peace and God Bless

President Obama Spells Out Our Air Safety And War

Copyright, "DMAN" At The Thought Spigot

President Obama, at 3:35 P.M. (CST), addressed the American public today, with a speech not completely filled with partisan and rhetoric filled fantasy. Instead, Obama came out with a, roughly, twenty minute speech showing firm and direct actions (for the most part), in response to the "underwear bomber/Christmas bomber."

"For ultimately, the buck stops with me. As President, I have a solemn responsibility to protect our Nation and our people, for when the system fails, it is my responsibility." Straight from the President's mouth, a statement without throwing anyone under the bus, passing the buck, or deflecting problems onto other countries (which probably would never happen). He pressed on, stating he will be assigning actual assignments (to the different defense department heads, on down), re-evaluating the "no fly list" and expanding it, and bringing up a litany of other defense measures, for our defense departments (talking about new technology, scanners, etc.). In backing this up, he stated, "we can't sit on information that could protect the American people."

After blaming "systemic failure," as the reason for the "Christmas Day bombers" ability to get on a plane, with an actual bomb, there is a lot of work to be done, and the proof of President Obama's speech will be born out of deeds, not speeches. There cannot be any speeches and pundits talking about national defense, in the harshest of manners, and then turning around with no results, or attacks on the United States (and it's allies). Past performance, sometimes, shows future results. Therefore, when President Obama makes a statement (which is the correct one and maybe the first time he has spoken these exact words), "we are at war, and we are at war with Al-Queada." He can't let health care, the economy, or any other things get in the way of fighting this war, to the fullest of his capability (coupled with our best and brightest, in the defense world). He also can't make today's speech and then go back, or lie, about what he just professed, as he did in the primaries (stating more than six times, on camera, "all of the health care debates and talks will be televised on CSPAN, giving full transparency," which never happened).
